Breaking the Cycle: The TIMIZA 95 Project’s Commitment to Healthier Futures in Nyeri and Meru Counties in Kenya

At Philia Mission Kenya, we are passionately working towards transforming lives by tackling two critical issues in Nyeri and Meru Counties: eliminating HIV transmission from mother to child and ending teenage pregnancies. Under the TIMIZA 95 Project, supported by Gilead Science, our mission is to ensure healthier futures for children and empower young girls to pursue their dreams without the setbacks of early pregnancies.

Through the TIMIZA 95 Project, we aim to achieve a 95% reduction in HIV transmission rates, ensuring that mothers can give birth to HIV-free children. Our approach includes working closely with key stakeholders such as healthcare providers, community leaders, and government agencies. By fostering strong partnerships, we are creating a supportive environment where prevention, education, and care are at the forefront.

Our commitment through the TIMIZA 95 Project is to see an end to the cycle of mother-to-child HIV transmission and teenage pregnancies in Nyeri and Meru counties. Together with Gilead Science, we are dedicated to creating healthier, stronger communities and ensuring a brighter future for all.
