At Philia Mission Kenya, we are driven by a passion for change and a commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable populations. Our mission is focused on two pressing issues in Nyeri and Meru Counties: eliminating HIV transmission from mother to child and ending teenage pregnancies.
Capacity-building initiatives are central to our strategy. We are actively training healthcare staff and community workers, equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to prevent HIV transmission and provide essential support for young mothers. Additionally, our educational programs target adolescent girls, empowering them with information and resources to make informed choices and avoid teenage pregnancies.
Through the TIMIZA 95 Project, we aim to achieve a 95% reduction in HIV transmission rates, ensuring that mothers can give birth to HIV-free children. Our approach includes working closely with key stakeholders such as healthcare providers, community leaders, and government agencies. By fostering strong partnerships, we are creating a supportive environment where prevention, education, and care are at the forefront.
